A new blog design

Just like human beings, our blogs grow, change, and take new dimensions.
After blogging for 1.5 years with my own self-made template and blog header, I needed Life In Positudiness to get a new face, and its design and colors to be more reflective of my personality.

A couple months ago, after researching on the Internet and particularly Etsy for some good web designs that inspired me, I found Color Crush Creative.  The designer, Ce Ce, specializes in simple designs with pop of colors.  I only saw a couple of her designs and I knew right away that it was what I needed.  When I contacted her, she informed me that she was still in the process of building her shop, therefore quite busy, but she accepted to work with me anyways.  We hit it off pretty quickly; she is such a sweet person!!

I loved working with Ce Ce on this.  She was very professional in the way she handled the process.  I felt comfortable emailing back and forth with her because I realized that she really wanted me to be happy with my new design.

The Useful and Easy Stuff - The Deck Part 3

The deck has been a long process to share with you. A little coffee table I had no real purpose in the house for inspired me to re-do our deck, make it in a cozy space that we would enjoy spending our summers on. After painting the coffee table, I added some wheels for practicality and then it was time to style up the space!
I went shopping around the house first and found colorful pillows that could work and then went to Ikea to get an outdoor rug and some lanterns.

Fashion Friday - Mirrored Lace

You guys...
By now, all of you who've been following me should know what my favorite saying is...
"Better late than never"!

I'm honestly not comfortable saying this, but my life is hectic, weird schedules, no structure at all, and it affects me and what I love to do a lot.  And let's be honest, when you can't do what you love the way you intend to, it becomes a bit depressing.

But I'm trying to the best of my abilities, and whenever I can't blog, I'm at least active on Instagram to be able to stay connected with you and share my latest faves + trendy tips!  I love to stay in touch with the community of IGers.  It truly is an amazing platform!

Anyways, of course I had a little something planned for you today, but with my upcoming travel plans to France {can't wait to spend time home with my parents, brother, friends and family <3}, I didn't get a chance to post earlier.

Fashion Friday - Paris Je T'aime

I recently made my first purchase in Sheinside.com, and I love what I got.
Part of my order was this really cute shirt Paris Je T'Aime. I usually don't wear short sleeves t-shirts, but I'm in love with this one. The fabric is light weight, super soft and the sleeves are wide and very comfortable.

The Useful and Easy Stuff - The deck part 2

I finally get around to writing about what I did next for my deck makeover.  Super over due post, since this project took place about a month ago, but better late than never!

The coffee table is a pretty heavy piece and since I want to be able to bring it in and out of the house by myself, I installed wheels on the bottom.

Easy Peasy Cheerful Notebook

Yes, I'll admit it, I'm a fan of Tinkerbell!!
But sometimes, you just have to grow up and turn the page.

I needed a notepad to leave in my car to take notes.  I don't know about you, but when I go away or when I drive, I have all these thoughts coming in mind (food to buy, things to do...), and I usually forget them very quickly. I wanted to have something on hands best to write these lists right away (not while driving obviously).

I found this old small notebook in the bottom of my drawer and was about to throw it out because of the childish cover.  But I hate throwing things out...!!  Especially when it was never used.
