How is your summer going girls? 

I am vacationing in France right now, which you may have seen on my Instagram. This afternoon, I will be on-the-go again as I will travel to the center of France to visit my family: great uncles and aunts, cousins and family friends I haven't seen in years... I cannot wait for all the fun and catching up!!

A couple weeks ago, I found this skull shirt at Express. I've had a little skull obsession for years, but sometimes I feel uncomfortable wearing clothes or jewelry with them on it. I always think they may look a little too harsh or that people may think I'm morbid or something like that! 

But with a touch of gold, I thought this shirt was very much down my alley and just couldn't resist getting it.

Fashion Friday - Mirrored Lace

By now, all of you who've been following me should know what my favorite saying is...

"Better late than never"!

I'm honestly not comfortable saying this, but my life is hectic, weird schedules, no structure at all, and it affects me and what I love to do a lot.  And let's be honest, when you can't do what you love the way you intend to, it becomes a bit depressing.

But I'm trying to the best of my abilities, and whenever I can't blog, I'm at least active on Instagram to be able to stay connected with you and share my latest faves + trendy tips!  I love to stay in touch with the community of IGers.  It truly is an amazing platform!

Anyways, of course I had a little something planned for you today, but with my upcoming travel plans to France {can't wait to spend time home with my parents, brother, friends and family <3}, I didn't get a chance to post earlier.

Fashion Friday - Paris Je T'aime

I recently made my first purchase in Sheinside.com, and I love what I got.
Part of my order was this really cute shirt Paris Je T'Aime. I usually don't wear short sleeves t-shirts, but I'm in love with this one. The fabric is light weight, super soft and the sleeves are wide and very comfortable.

Fashion Friday ~ Feeling Fresh.

One day 'til Summer! Can you believe it? Where did Spring go?! I keep thinking it was just yesterday that we had those huge amounts of snow...

In this look, I am wearing my beloved Fresh. crop top from SETATA.  Funny fact, I would not usually dare wearing a top shorter than my belly button, but this one is a different story.  I guess I feel kind of connected to the top after attending the Jersey Shore Fashion Show and staying by the designer's side!

The skirt I wear is an old black and white high waisted dress.  The white top was not to my tastes anymore, so I removed it and kept the fun ruffle skirt.

The shoes are Adolfo Dominguez, and jewelry stella & dot.

Fashion Friday ~ SETATA Fashion Show

This past Wednesday, I had the amazing opportunity to join SETATA, an up and coming clothing brand, at the Jersey Shore Fashion Show. 

It was really great experience!

My first fashion show, my first time seeing the brand in person, my first time driving by myself down the shore!! Oh yeah! Not only did this day satisfy my fashion crave, it also gave me a sense of freedom ;)

Fashion Friday ~ Kendra's Miami Fashion Challenge

Today is a very special Fashion Friday.

I am taking part in "Kendra's Miami Fashion Challenge" which means that I will share with you six different outfits I created in Polyvore for the occasion.
{I don't know where I've been all these years, but I just discovered and started using this app, it's AWESOME!!!! I had so much fun getting creative and putting together the best outfits I could.}

About the challenge:

Kendra Thornton, a renowned travel expert who makes regular appearance on stations like ABC, CBS, FOX, CW and has been a special guest at The Tyra Banks show, The Nate Show and more, asked me if I could come up with some fashionable outfitsfor her upcoming getaway.  She and her husband are finally taking time for just the two of them {sorry kids, you're staying home}, and are going on a relaxing and romantic escape in the "capital" of the Sunshine State, wonderful Miami, FL!

Fashion Friday ~ A Chilly Spring Day Outfit

A couple weeks ago, when my family was visiting, we went to Lewes, DE to take the ferry from Delaware to New Jersey.  While we waited for our time to embark on the long voyage (just kidding, it's only an hour ride or so, but very beautiful!! We saw dolphins!), we visited the cute little town of Lewes.  The trees where finally blooming, the air was pure and brisk, and this little walk in the park just became an impromptu photo shoot.

May Flowers and Bright Cobalt

Hey everyone!!

My parents and grand-mother were visiting from France and stayed with us for the past 2 weeks.  We had such a wonderful time going to different areas (Pennsylvania, Atlantic City, Washington DC) and enjoying being with each other that I took some time off from my weekly Fashion Friday...

But, I am back!  And I hope you will like this casual springy look.

This is the first Fashion Friday I am doing since I got my hair cut!!!  My fabulous friend Jill who attended the Arrojo Cosmetology School in NYC as a hair and make-up artist asked me to be her model for her graduation day two weeks ago.  And well... we decided to chop off about 8in, and do a reddish-brownish glaze on my "virgin" hair!!  It was such a big change, but so much fun and I love it!  ~Thanks J.F., love you girlfriend! <3~

Here in Jersey, the weather has been kind of uncertain, so lately I have been loving my ankle boots!

Fashion Friday ~ Black and White Sparkles

Today's Fashion Friday is all about Black and White and Sparkles!!

I've always had such a hard time dressing up for a formal dinner, party or whatnot, but now that I have my Stella and Dot accessories, it's all fun and ease. The jewelry definitely changes my outfits, and I really love this dress!!!  

The Captain's Dinner on our cruise 2 months ago was the perfect night to wear it.  Forgive the not-so-glamorous background, Hubby sweetly agreed to do a lil photoshoot before we headed out, so we were in our cabin!
