Love looking at the sunrise when we go to the shore. |
While I drink my coffee, part of my morning routine is to check out what's new in the blog world. And after I caught up on the newest posts from my fellow bloggers on Bloglovin', I checked my email. I was so excited to read a new sweet comment written on my description post and had to re-read it three times to really process what it said! Laura from Makeshift Living was informing me that she had nominated me for a
Liebster Award!!!
Oh. Em. Gee. Really!?! That is the best thing that has ever happened to me as a blogger so far!The Nomination
The Liebster ~which means "dearest" in German~ Award is a way for up-and-coming bloggers to demonstrate each others appreciation for what we do.
I am so grateful for Laura's nomination. This means so much to me. It is very rewarding to see that people really enjoy and appreciate the work that goes into writing posts, creating projects, and the overall work that is put into little blogs like mine! The Rules
Once bloggers are nominated for a Liebster Award they have to follow a few rules to spread the love:- Thank the person who nominated you and link back up to his/her blog.

The Nominees Are...
I have been following some really awesome up-and-coming blogs, so this award nomination is the perfect opportunity for me to let them know how great and inspirational they are!
The Questions from my Nominator
1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging as a way to keep my parents and whole family ~who live in France~ informed of my life in the US, as well as to share my creative projects with other readers. When I moved back to NJ at the beginning of the year, I was home alone a lot, doing different projects around the house, and I felt like I needed to "communicate" more. So, blogging became my way to express myself, my ideas, my inspirations, and the reasons behind my projects.
2. What three positives does blogging bring to your life?
Blogging has enabled me to meet really nice people, bloggers. Although I haven't met anyone in person yet, it is so nice to be able to relate to someone who does the same thing, share ideas, and feel part of a community.
Blogging is something I love that keeps me busy everyday. I really enjoy doing my projects around the house whether they are recipes, crafty things or organization, and then when I am really happy about the results, I love sharing them.
Also, writing my blog helps me stay positive. I purposely chose the title Life In Positudiness because I wanted a place in my life that would be nothing but positivism. Life can be pretty hectic at times, and with the social media it is very easy to be involved in negativity; I did not want that to happen. The title of my blog keeps me grounded and reminds me every day of what I aspire to.
3. What hopes do you have for your blog?
At this time, I simply hope to be able to continue blogging as much as I wish and keep my creativity flowing.
4. Of what are you most proud?
I have to admit, I am pretty proud of being able to design this blog myself! Every time I design something new and am able to insert it in my layout ~yes, after a lot of research and hours of trials and errors~ it makes me feel so good!!
5. Where do you shop the most?
Lately, I've been spending a lot of money at AC Moore!! I don't go there often, but when I do, I come out with a lot of items... I am loving the arts and crafts supplies!
6. You have $10 to spend on Amazon. What do you buy?
Oh, right now, I am definitely buying the Young House Love book! And quite frankly, I don't know why I haven't done so yet because I have been dying to see what's inside...
If you don't know about YHL yet, you better go check them out right away!! ;) They are an amazingly talented young couple doing any kind of DIY projects in their houses, they blog about them and they wrote a book about even more projects!
7. What crafting tool can you absolutely not live without?
Wow... That's a hard one... There are so many things that I would find hard not having. But I think that I could not live without my laptop. I know... It's not really a crafty tool, but I surely use it for a lot of creations ~cards, posters, pictures, charts, words print outs, etc~.
8. What's your go-to recipe when you're almost too tired to cook?
If I am too tired to cook, I will make pasta with butter and shredded cheese. Simple and tasty comfort food.
9. Would you choose undying love or unlimited funds? Why?
Undying love. I would rather live in love for ever and have a very frugal life than have all the money in the world but be lonely and miss out on the greatest of all feelings.
10. Do you have any pets? Please share a picture of your furbaby!
Yes I do, my husband and I adopted a dying kitten 3 years ago. We named her Lily. She has been such a great company and is so lovable.
